2008 April Fools Joke

Stardock Design announces Rick Astley branded MyColors suite.

Plymouth, MI - April 1, 2008 - Stardock Design is proud to announce a new project in the works with Richard Paul Astley, better know as 80's pop star Rick Astley. Due to the popularity of the 'Rick Roll' phenomenon, Rick has decided to re-enter the music world with a re-release of his classic 1987 No1 hit, 'Never gonna give you up', followed up by Rick's entering the studio to work on a new album, his first since 2001's "Keep it turned on".

The initial MyColors release will include two branded Windowblinds skins and a special 'album coundown' gadget, with an icon set and wallpaper package to follow, co-inciding with the release of the album. We have prepared a special page with preview and mock-ups of the work in progress for you to view.

Any comments and suggestions are very welcome: WWW Link

Oh come on.....Bucks Fizzle is just ABBA without the talent.

Next you'll say them tartan-wearing chinless dweebs from Scotland were great....

Abba \ Beatles are my favorite band(s).. ever. what ARE you talking about

and no Bay City Rollers weren't... very ..good?
on Apr 02, 2008

what ARE you talking about

I'm talking about Bucks Fizz being total crap....talentless clone of ABBA.

Both ABBA and the Beatles were/are known for their song-writing skills.  The same won't be said for Bucks Fizz, BCR, or Astley.

Jafo was never a teenage girl besotted with pop junk....

That pretty much sums it up....

.... and I hope you're not referring to Nazareth when you speak of chinless dweebs. Nazareth put out some kick arse rock n' roll.
